Post Christmas Fun

We've had a TON of fun playing with the boys' new toys.  Ethan has become really interested in Legos, and is already wanting to get more for his birthday.  (Anyone have any they want to sell???  Legos are not cheap!!!)  He so meticulously studies the picture in the manual and figures out  how to make it.  Sometimes he needs help and sometimes he doesn't, but I kind of like it when he does need help, because he always says, "Mommy, I love building with you!"  Awwww...

Ummm...is he not the cutest elf ever???

This one is not so Christmas related, but Eli has become a streaker!  He strips down when he goes potty or when he's supposed to be sleeping, and then runs around naked.  It's pretty funny.

Christmas all the way from Atlanta...

Basketball

The Thursday before Christmas, we bundled up and headed to Fayetteville for a Razorback game.  Fortunately, they usually offer a game around Christmas break that is much cheaper than the regular games, so we try to take the kids to it.  The boys loved it, and it was some great family time!  We had a great Lamp and Grubb mix.  :)

Homemade Calendar

Thanks to Pinterest, I have been SOOOOO excited for Christmas this year.  I love finding the perfect idea, spending time crafting and making sure it's just right for that special someone.  This year we made an artwork calendar made out of the boys' handprints and footprints.

If you need an idea for a grandparent gift, I highly recommend this!  You can get the blank calendar from current.com for only $5.  Warning, though, the actually artwork is extremely time consuming to create, since each page has to dry before doing the next.  But totally worth it!
For more ideas on handwork art, just google handprint calendar, and you'll see even more ideas.

Christmas Morning, Round 2

After opening presents at our house, we headed over to the Grubbs to do Christmas with them and my parents, and have a delicious Christmas breakfast together.
