Eli Turns THREE!!!

H

Eli got a clock for his room (identical to the one Ethan has in his room, of course!)
An Angry Birds game (which is funny, because he has no idea what Angry Birds are, it just looked like a cool game, so we got it)
And an awesome robot piggy bank...
Along with a bag full of coins to put in the robot...

Eli chose Red Robin for his birthday lunch.  Man, he looks so handsome!!!

The servers came out and sang Happy Birthday to Eli.  Of course, they don't sing the regular version of the sing, but their own version.  When they were done, Eli turned to me and said, "Why they sing it wrong???"  It was hilarious. Then he went to town on his birthday sundae.

We had Life Group at our house on Sunday night, so it made for a perfect impromptu birthday party!  In case you're wondering, that would be a cake covered with Nerds, per Eli's choice.  It tasted a little funny...

Too cute...he can't hold up three fingers without putting up four and then purposefully putting the pinky down with his other hand.  Love it!

I love this sweet boy so much.  He has brought so much laughter to our world.  He is going to be the class clown in a few years!

Happy birthday, Eli!!!

4 Wheelin'

Let's see....Ethan is five years old.  That means Uncle Dustin has been asking for about 4 years when Ethan could go 4 wheelin' with him.  If I had it my way, we would have waited at least another 10 years, but I guess 5 was old enough.  But boy, does it make me nervous!  Ethan was very excited, but he's a pretty naturally cautious person, so he didn't try anything crazy, thankfully.

Ethan Turns FIVE!!!!!

Ethan's latest obsession is Lego's.  He plays with them all the time at school; his teacher says he's better at them than his 9 year old son.  :)  Ethan got one set for Christmas, which he loves playing with.  So, we of course, HAD to have a Lego party!

Ethan and I spent several evenings working on the invitations...

 And making goodie bags...
Lonnie and I had fun making Lego cookies...
The cake didn't quite turn out like the picture, but it was pretty cool.  (No, I did NOT make it myself)

As Ethan's friends arrived, they loved playing upstairs and being crazy together.  They would have been content just doing that the whole time!
But we did have a few Lego games to play...

Present time!  Ethan was blessed to get TONS of Lego's!!!!  And a few books, a T-shirt, a Jell-O mold, and some juice and velcro (ask Shad about that...)

Lego candy from the candy store that we made it to treats for the goodie bags.

The party was a big success!  Can't believe my little baby is already FIVE and about to start Kindergarten!!!!!
